Questions people often ask

What can RTT help with?

Because it deals with the root cause of issues, RTT has had extraordinary success in helping people overcome a wide variety of mental, emotional and physical conditions. Examples range from PTSD and achieving goals to infertility and even genetic conditions.

How does RTT work?

RTT seeks to resolve clients' issues by working directly with the subconscious mind. Through the gentle use of hypnotherapy and a selection of investigative tools, RTT addresses the core issues rather than merely treating the symptoms. Given that the beliefs which drive our thoughts and emotions reside in the subconscious, by accessing and working with them, these obsolete beliefs can be updated to transform the life of the client.

How is RTT different from hypnotherapy?

As with hypnotherapy there is an overlap. Both RTT and NLP seek to improve the way we communicate with our minds. However, RTT goes much further in that it takes full advantage of access to the subconscious mind to uncover the core issue and replace the negative beliefs it generated with powerful and life-changing new ones.

Is RTT the same as NLP?

The fundamental difference between RTT and hypnotherapy is that RTT uses hypnosis to investigate, uncover and repair the root cause of a client's issue – that is usually hidden in the subconscious mind. In this way RTT offers a profound reset and sets the client up for a positive, bright future.

Can RTT help with physical symptoms?

Certainly it can. While there are clear limitations, RTT successfully works with a wide range of physical ailments. Neuroplasticity shows us the extraordinarily sensitive interface between the mind and the body and the powerful influence they have on each other. A surprising number of negative beliefs and emotions are manifested in the body as illness for apparently unrelated reasons.
RTT seeks to alleviate and mitigate wherever it can.

How does hypnosis feel?

The hypnosis we use in RTT is very light. And it's something already very familiar to all of us. You are completely aware all of the time, in fact probably more than usual and you are in total control all the time. Really it's like a light daydream with the relaxed sensation of gentle meditation. It's safe and very calm. Clients really enjoy the peace and the easy conversations we have. So often, the client after the session looks so much lighter and feels so relieved. That tells its own story.

What are sessions like?

Sessions are essentially a conversation between the client and myself, but on a deeply relaxed level. There are different phases of the session, moving from gathering information through clear understanding to letting go and installing powerful new connections in the mind. This, along with the beautiful bespoke audio I make in the session, really helps to embed the positive work we've done in the neural pathways of the brain.
